Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim seeks a Commercial Business Director for Obesity Liver Primary Care to lead the Primary Care commercial organization within the therapeutic area and drive customer-centric strategies for growth.

As a member of the Primary Care Sales Leadership Team, you will partner across Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Analytics & Insights, Patient Services, and other functions to ensure coordinated execution and fiscal management of regional budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Master’s degree preferred.
• Ten-plus years in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or consumer packaged industries.
• Five-plus years of sales/commercial leadership experience; U.S. experience preferred.
• Two-plus years of people leadership in a complex matrix organization.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
• Willingness to travel 75%+.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership to Field Sales Managers to achieve regional sales, market share, and KPIs.
• Develops and executes regional business plans
• Executes regional P&L responsibilities
• Builds a high-performing organization through talent acquisition and development
• Leads development and execution of integrated regional business strategies
