Job summary

Novelis is seeking a Regional CoE Lead - Progressive Quality to drive regional deployment and governance of quality standards across multiple plants. The role reports to the Operations Excellence Senior Manager and focuses on improving process stability, reducing defects, and building capability through coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, operational excellence, or management-system implementation.
• Experience leading improvement programs and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to use data to identify gaps and improve performance.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional deployment and governance of Progressive Quality standards across the plant network.
• Define owners for processes and track performance targets and business results.
• Develop and standardize process controls, reaction plans, and governance routines.
• Translate customer requirements into clear operating parameters and control strategies.
• Monitor process stability, variation, capability, and quality losses.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate defects.
• Build regional capability through training, coaching, and communities of practice.
• Support audits, track actions, and address systemic barriers when needed.
