Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. seeks a Regional Coding Manager in the United States to oversee coding, client management, and process improvement across hospital clients. The role requires active AHIMA/AAPC certification and healthcare revenue cycle experience.

You will monitor performance, provide guidance, and lead resolution of coding workflow issues. You will collaborate with quality review to ensure coding accuracy, staff training, and KPI achievement while supporting a dynamic, service‑oriented team.

Qualifications

• Active coding certification required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC).
• Healthcare revenue cycle management experience in a clinical/health system setting.
• Ability to lead a coding team and drive performance against KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service levels by monitoring team performance, productivity, and quality.
• Conduct daily/weekly coding performance reviews and report barriers to leadership.
• Address complex coding workflow issues, lead resolution projects, escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with quality review to address coding quality and staff compliance.
