Job summary

Sport Clips is hiring a Regional Coach to develop Area Coaches and Store Managers across GA, AL, MS, LA, and TX. The role focuses on growing leadership, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence while mentoring coaches in field-based settings.

The candidate will reside in one of the target states, be licensed as a cosmetologist or barber, and travel 3 weeks per month, including overnight market visits. This is a leadership-forward, field-based role within the Sport Clips ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed cosmetologist or barber.
• Minimum 2+ years as an Area Coach; exceeds expectations in responsibilities.
• Excellent in Operations, including duties of an Area Coach per Job Scorecard.
• Maintain open communication with VP of Company Stores, Director of Operations Standards and Artistic Director, Coaches, Leadership, and other SCI departments as needed.
• Lead by example in all aspects of behavior, dress, and professionalism.
• Exemplify Sport Clips values and be a strong mentor/leader.
• Travel entails days, nights, and weekends; 3 weeks/month in field.
• Trips to markets minimum 2+ nights and 3+ days; field time should be purposeful.

Responsibilities

• Develop Coaches in technical and operations skills with training, shadowing, and in-field support.
• Visit Stores with Area Coaches to maintain market presence and visibility.
• Drive same-store sales growth by identifying opportunities with Regional Directors and Store Managers.
• Partner with Regional Director to develop and execute store-improvement plans.
• Participate in Coach Calls with other Coaches.
• Foster ongoing personal development for Coaches under purview.
• Serve as mentor and master trainer for Coaches.
• Assist in expanding knowledge in business topics (e.g., brand, openings, marketing) with Regions.
• Promote Technical Excellence and Consistency through developing Store Managers.
• Create content for impactful Manager, Area Manager, and Coach Huddles with Regional Director.
• Promote Brand and Operational Excellence through Success Checks and store visits.
• Collaborate with Directors and Teams to promote Sport Clips brand awareness in the community.
• Support content delivery for Coaches at Huddles and Leadership events.
