Job summary

The Key Program, Inc. seeks a full-time Regional Clinical Director to lead three residential programs for youth and families in Central MA, Worcester. The role requires a Master’s in a clinical field, independent licensure, and at least three years of clinical practice with supervisory experience.

You will collaborate with the Director and HR to ensure high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff development, while promoting trauma-informed, family-centered services.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a clinical field required.
  • Independently licensed (LICSW, LMHC or Licensed Psychologist) required.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical services including individual, group and family therapy in child/adolescent residential and home-based settings.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory/administrative experience.
  • Knowledge and practice of CBT, DBT, Triple P and trauma-informed care; neurofeedback.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

The Key Program, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Regional Clinical Director to work in their Central MA region, in Worcester, MA, that operates three (up to 9 beds) residential programs for youth and community-based services working with children/youth and families.

Total Compensation:

Salary: Generous starting salary range:$85,000 - $90,000. Commensurate with experience for salary negotiation.

*Additionalcompensation is provided for: bilingual skills, on-call rotation stipend, extra shift rate, supervision of interns, and becoming certified tofacilitateCrisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. Opportunities exist for future annual merit-based salary increases.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

As a member of the regional management team, the RCD works in close partnership with the Director, the Assistant Director, and the Senior Administrative Supervisor/HR Representative. Together, this team provides regional leadership and oversight of operational, clinical, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and human resources functions. The RCD is part of the organizational Management Team and supports Key’s mission by promoting strength-based, family-centered, and trauma-informed care practices, while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment for all staff. This position reports to the Director and receives additional supervision and guidance from the Director of Agency Clinical Services.

  • Partners with the Director and the Assistant Director to s upport policy development, program improvementinitiatives,quality assurance,and integration of trauma-informed, family-centered practices across services, andestablishesand oversees regional clinical practices, standards, and outcomesin collaboration with agency-wideRCDs, the Director of Agency Clinical Services, and the Director.
  • Demonstrates advancedproficiencyin entering client information and case documentation into the agency’s electronic medical record system and state-specific platforms, ensuring compliance with content and deadline requirements; trains clinical staff and develops systems to regularlymonitordocumentation.
  • Leads clinical staff through structured supervision and coaching, driving compliance, professional development, documentation standards and performance excellence.
  • Adheres to Key’s policies around the protection of client information, confidentiality, HIPAA, and Professional Code of Ethics policies, and works to ensure staff compliance.
  • Engages with state agencies, licensing bodies, and community partners, and oversees systems for consistent communication and regular meetings to ensure services align with client goals, while keepingappropriate personnelinformed of significant developments, program census, waitlists, and other critical updates. Ensures regional adherence to all clinical-related licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Supervises graduate-level intern field placements, ensures clinical staff have opportunities to provide intern supervision, and offers clinical supervision to MA-level clinicians pursuinglicensure.
  • Participates inand contributes to regional supervisory and planningmeetings andparticipatesin regional on-call schedule providing on-site resolution when necessary.
