Job summary

Step Forward ABA in Colorado is seeking a Regional Clinical Director to lead clinical teams across the region, supervise BCBAs and BCaBAs, and ensure adherence to BACB guidelines and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor clinicians, drive program quality, and partner with the Senior Clinical Director and Director of Operations to deliver high-quality ABA services, foster a collaborative culture, and support growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of BCBA experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of North Carolina Medicaid and insurance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
• Proficiency in CentralReach and ABA data systems (preferred).
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and school-based services (preferred).
• Safety-Care or CPI certification preferred (preferred).

• Oversee the development, accuracy, and compliance of FBAs, BIPs, and treatment plans. Conduct data audits, fidelity checks, and monitor clinical integrity across cases.
• Maintain regular communication with families and support teams to address questions, concerns, and progress, ensuring satisfaction and transparency.
• Work in partnership with the operations division to support appropriate case assignments, onboarding, and team alignment.
• Support hiring, orientation, and mentorship of new team members and clinical interns. Facilitate clinical trainings and enforce internal policies and procedures.
• Participate in staffing audits, productivity tracking, and clinic walkthroughs. Ensure region-wide compliance with state regulations, payer expectations, and BACB guidelines.

Position Overview:

The Regional Clinical Director (RCD) serves as the clinical and administrative senior for an assigned region, overseeing BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and clinical interns. In this leadership role, you'll mentor clinicians, guide program quality, and collaborate closely with our Senior Clinical Director and Director of Operations to ensure that services align with both client needs and organizational goals. This is a hands-on leadership role for a clinical professional who is passionate about building strong teams, optimizing outcomes, and creating a supportive, inclusive culture.
