Job summary

Step Forward ABA in Florida is seeking a Regional Clinical Director to lead with integrity, support clinical teams, and champion the highest standards of care. You will supervise BCBAs and BCaBAs, oversee clinical decision-making, and drive data-informed treatment across the region.

The role requires a Master’s degree in ABA/ Psychology/ Education or related field, active BCBA certification, and a minimum of 3 years of BCBA experience with at least 1 year in supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of BCBA experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of Virginia Medicaid and insurance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision & mentorship to BCBAs and BCaBAs, guiding professional growth and clinical decisions.
• Quality Assurance: oversee clinical plans, data audits, and fidelity checks across cases.
• Family & stakeholder communication to ensure progress, questions, and transparency.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision & Mentorship: Provide supervision and individualized mentorship to BCBAs and BCaBAs; support professional growth and clinical decision-making.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the development, accuracy, and compliance of FBAs, BIPs, and treatment plans. Conduct data audits, fidelity checks, and monitor clinical integrity across cases.
• Family & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with families and support teams to address questions, concerns, and progress, ensuring satisfaction and transparency.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work in partnership with the operations division to support appropriate case assignments, onboarding, and team alignment.
• Leadership Development & Training: Support hiring, orientation, and mentorship of new team members and clinical interns. Facilitate clinical trainings and enforce internal policies and procedures.
• Operational Partnership: Participate in staffing audits, productivity tracking, and clinic walkthroughs. Ensure region-wide compliance with state regulations, payer expectations, and BACB guidelines.

Compensation (Based On Experience & Education)

Pay: $87,000 - $105,000 (salary)

• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of BCBA experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of Virgina Medicaid and insurance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
• Proficiency in CentralReach and ABA data systems (preferred).
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and school-based services (preferred).
• Safety-Care or CPI certification preferred (preferred).
