Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Chicago, IL is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a regional route with sleeper tractor, no-touch freight, and a Monday–Sunday schedule (home resets).

You’ll earn $1,700+ per week with paid training, weekly pay, and full benefits after 30 days, plus PTO, uniforms, 401(k) with company match, and maternity leave opportunities. Start times typically 6:00 am–7:00 pm with a dispatch window.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 9 months experience in tractor-trailer within past 3 years (or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years).
• Must be able to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
