Defined Regional Territory With Regular Weekend Resets

Stay within an established regional freight network while still getting back home on a regular basis. LEM Trucking is hiring for a Class A CDL Truck Driver position in Cleveland, Ohio, operating dry van freight across Midwest and Southeast lanes.

This fleet is structured around regional runs rather than extended OTR schedules. Drivers travel through a defined operating area with routes planned to avoid New York City and other heavily congested markets whenever possible. Most weeks finish with a full 48 hour reset at home.

Freight and Weekly Operations

Loads are 100 percent no touch, allowing drivers to focus on driving instead of physically handling customer freight. A high percentage of assignments are drop and hook, although scheduled live loads are also included in the freight mix.

Dispatch coordinates established customer freight throughout the week to support productive mileage and efficient transitions between loads.

Pay and Additional Compensation

A Class A CDL Truck Driver averages $1,300 to $1,500 per week depending on mileage and verified experience. Additional compensation is available when applicable for detention, layovers, breakdowns, and qualifying safe driving performance.

Assigned Trucks and Benefits

Each Class A CDL Truck Driver receives an assigned 2019 through 2023 Freightliner Cascadia with an automatic transmission. Trucks include sleeper accommodations, a refrigerator, power inverter, and additional equipment for regional travel.

Eligible drivers can enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance. Paid holidays, vacation time, and retirement savings options are also available. Approved drivers may participate in the company rider and pet programs.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least six months of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the previous three years. Candidates must satisfy DOT standards and company driving history requirements.
