Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Gary, IN. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a path in a respected logistics organization.

You will drive solo routes to multiple states with a regional schedule featuring 2-3 layovers per week, starting between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM. The position includes a sign-on bonus, retention bonus, and safety bonuses, plus medical, dental, vision coverage after 30 days, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and additional perks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; Ryder will train and assist in obtaining if needed.
• Tank endorsement preferred.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and DOT physical.
• Must pass Ryder road test and background checks for last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activities.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
