Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver for Corrugated Logistics operations. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, securely load and unload, and navigate diverse routes while adhering to FMCSA and company policies. Excellent safety and compliance are required.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, log maintenance, and clear communication with Dispatch. A DOT medical exam and drug test are mandatory, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable CMV experience – 12 months or 150,000 miles.
• Read, write, speak and understand English clearly.
• DOT applications must be complete and accurate and should include 7 year MVR with application.
• No major safety violations in the last several years; maintain a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT medical standards including a physical and drug test.
• Possess a valid Social Security Card.
• No reckless driving violations in the last 10 years.
• No license suspensions in the last 10 years.
• No more than two moving or non-moving violations in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Drop, hook, switch and interchange equipment, including trailer handling and landing gear operations.
• Maintain driver logs electronically per FMCSA and Corrugated Logistics requirements.
• Ensure all required shipping documentation accompanies deliveries.
• Communicate with Dispatch/Operations about stops, movements, and any issues.
• Report accidents or incidents involving company equipment promptly.
