Job summary

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement or able to obtain within 120 calendar days of hire.
• Minimum of 30 months of Class A tractor/trailer driving experience within the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to relocate within 250 miles within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Walmart’s high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile of the way.
• Plan your day, set priorities, and coordinate with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Communicate clearly, solve problems as they arise, and adapt to changes on the road or in the plan.
• Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs in accordance with DOT, state, and company guidelines.
• Safely operate your tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip to keep it in top shape.
• Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions to reduce delays and improve on-time delivery.
