Job summary

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement (with cleared background check) or will obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Minimum 30 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position (last 3 years).
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years; no serious violations or preventable accidents.
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned Walmart facility or be willing to relocate within 250 miles within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism standards.
• Plan daily routes, set priorities, work with team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Handle required paperwork and electronic logs following DOT/state/company guidelines.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer; inspect vehicle before, during, after trips.
• Run optimized routes by obeying traffic laws and local restrictions to improve on-time delivery.
