Job summary

Tradebe is seeking a CDL Driver - Class A at our Bridgeport, CT location. You will transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste per DOT rules, maintain logs, and complete shipping paperwork while upholding safety and compliance.

Eligible drivers have a Class A CDL with manual transmission experience, tanker endorsement, and a clean driving record. Expect flexible schedule, possible overnight travel, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission experience.
• Tanker endorsement required; Hazmat preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Physically able to wear PPE and perform manual labor.
• Comfortable with flexible schedule and overnight travel.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials per DOT guidelines.
• Complete and manage required shipping paperwork and manifests.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate various types of commercial and waste-handling equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, including use of PPE and respirators.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records and logs.
• Other duties as assigned.
