Job summary

Ducks Unlimited, Inc. seeks a Regional Engineer to join the Southern Regional Office in Richmond, TX. The role supports planning, design and construction of wetland restoration and enhancement projects within the Southwest Unit.

Qualified candidates have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and PE, with experience in Civil3D, hydrology, hydraulics, coastal engineering, and construction management. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and a registered Civil Engineer (PE).
• Experience with Civil3D, hydrology, hydraulics, coastal engineering and related design.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, bid and manage construction of wetland restoration projects.
• Supervise engineering staff and oversee programs and budgets.
• Provide training and engineering guidance to staff.
• Ensure quality control of engineering services and standards.
• Travel occasionally for field work and coordination.
