Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Regional Civil Design Engineering Project Manager to lead the West region's athletic facility design initiatives. The role involves producing civil design plans, coordinating permitting, and managing stormwater calculations using HydroCAD or Hydraflow.

You will guide a cross-functional team and support sales with concept designs. The position emphasizes leadership, site design expertise, and collaboration with jurisdictions, clients, and field teams, with some travel to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred (CA, OR, WA) with 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience in civil site design: grading, drainage, water/sewer, earthwork and sediment control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and design.
• Strong leadership and multitasking skills with ability to manage regional design projects.
• Experience with bidding/estimating processes and client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage production of civil design/construction plans, notes, details, and cross-sections.
• Prepare and negotiate design agreements including schedule, scope, and budget.
• Prepare and submit project permitting packages.
• Lead the team in stormwater calculations for athletic facility development.
• Prepare technical reports and exhibits to support project documentation.
• Review drawings, specs, calculations, and shop drawings for conformance.
• Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations and quantity take-offs.
• Support sales with concept designs and client meetings.
• Travel as needed and coordinate with subcontractors and installation teams.
