Job summary

Tarkett Sports is seeking a Regional Civil Design Engineering Project Manager to support athletic facility design for the West region. This role is remote within the West region and reports to the West Region VP of Construction and Design.

You will guide design, permitting, stormwater calculations, and production drawings while collaborating with sales and installation teams. Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree and 6–10 years of experience, with a PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred with 6-10 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage production of civil design/construction plans.
• Prepare and negotiate design agreements including scope and budget.
• Prepare and submit project permitting packages.
• Lead the team in preparing storm water calculations for facilities.
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and exhibits for documentation.
• Review drawings and calculations for conformance to standards.
• Support the sales team with concept designs and client meetings.
• Interact with jurisdictions, peers, clients and supervisors for project success.
• Oversee project closeout and assist in billing and invoices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

PE license preferred
