Job summary

The NYS Office of Children and Family Services is seeking a dedicated professional for the Westchester Regional Office to oversee and monitor multiple agencies and local departments serving children and youth.

You will conduct in-person reviews, provide technical assistance, collect data, and prepare reports to ensure safety, well‑being and permanency. The role emphasizes compliance, advocacy, and collaboration across state agencies.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience providing services to children and families in inspection, management, or administration of care programs.
• Experience ensuring compliance for certification or licensing; supervising, monitoring, or administering services.
• Experience in social casework, counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and monitoring for 26 voluntary agencies and 9 Local Departments of Social Services.
• Perform in-person program reviews and technical assistance visits.
• Collect data, prepare written reports, and monitor Program Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Entry data and perform related essential tasks to promote safety, well‑being, and permanency for children and youth.
