Job summary

Colwen Hotels is seeking a Regional Chief Engineer to lead day-to-day maintenance for assigned properties. You will oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate engineering teams, and ensure safety and compliance across hotels.

You will manage budgets, review work orders, supervise staff, and partner with vendors while upholding high standards of service and guest safety. If you have strong leadership, HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and CPO certification, join our growing hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Engineering/Maintenance Department leadership in hotels
• Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) is required (May be obtained post hire)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of budgeting and project planning

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation/maintenance of assigned hotels
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical/mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing)
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff at hotels
• Ensure safe working environment per OSHA guidelines and maintain MSDS sheets
• Coordinate with vendors and manage contracts and COIs
