Job summary

Ochsner Health in New Orleans seeks a Regional Chair of Radiology to lead a large, academically productive team across multiple sites. You will direct clinical operations, advance imaging services, and align subspecialty growth with multidisciplinary programs.

You will guide education programs and collaborate with partners like MD Anderson to drive research and clinical excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• National reputation for excellence in Radiology/Imaging with leadership at the section or department level.
• Significant clinical radiology experience with imaging interpretation and clinical decision-making.
• Current board certification in Radiology and/or related imaging subspecialty.
• MD or DO with active ABR board certification.
• Louisiana license or eligibility to practice medicine.
• Active credentials with Ochsner Health and willingness to maintain clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large, academically productive group of 50+ physicians across 10+ sites.
• Develop and maintain efficient clinical operations with strategic planning.
• Advance imaging services, patient care outcomes, and departmental efficiency.
• Lead subspecialty academic growth aligned with multidisciplinary programs.
• Establish an active research section focusing on clinical outcomes and data science.
• Direct medical education programs and ensure accreditation alignment.
• Manage partnerships with MD Anderson Cancer Center and Andrews Institute.
• Oversee day-to-day radiology operations across the GNO region.
