The position focuses on building a diverse regional workforce and strong community partnerships. The Regional CEO supervises Executive Directors and regional officers in a matrix structure, ensuring programs align with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree required in business, communications, marketing, public relations, finance or nonprofit administration, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ related experience in business or nonprofit sector.
• Minimum 7 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for mission delivery, fundraising, communications, volunteer services, and operations within the Massachusetts Region.
• Serve as the face of the American Red Cross with community initiatives, donors and partners.
• Oversee regional officers and executive directors in a matrix structure.
• Develop and engage volunteer boards and community leadership across chapters.
• Build diverse, engaged regional workforce and volunteers representing the communities served.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures and applicable laws.
