Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Regional Central Dispatch Manager to report from either Orland Park, IL or South Elgin, IL. The role leads equipment transportation and dispatch across Illinois and Indiana, coordinating Rental, Service, and Sales moves to optimize deliveries and moves while ensuring safety and on-time execution.

The expected salary ranges between $80-100k based on experience. Regional travel may be required and the position collaborates with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, equipment rental, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with construction equipment, material handling, or the rental industry preferred.

• Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, transfers, and service-related moves.
• Optimize routing, driver utilization, and transportation capacity.

• Lead regional dispatch processes and collaborate with branch, rental, service, and sales teams.

Our Construction Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Regional Central Dispatch Manager to report out of either ourOrland Park, IL or South Elgin, IL branches.

The Regional Central Dispatch Manager leads and coordinates equipment transportation and dispatch activities across Illinois and Indiana, serving as the central point of contact for Rental, Service, and Sales transportation requests. The role is responsible for optimizing deliveries, pickups, interbranch transfers, and equipment movements while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time execution.

The expected salary for this role ranges between $80-100k based on overall candidate experience.
