Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Regional Battery Freight Driver to deliver a dedicated battery freight account with consistent weekly home time.

Average weekly pay is $1,900–$1,950 with overtime after 40 hours, plus a $25 per diem for qualifying layovers, and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within past 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reports.
• Must meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Must create profile with the DOT Clearinghouse before hire.

Responsibilities

• Drive dedicated nationwide battery freight.
• Handle multi-stop loads.
• Unload at each stop.
• Use liftgate and electric pallet jack.
• Operate automatic late-model Freightliner sleeper cabs.
• Maintain safety and compliance.

Join a dedicated regional battery freight account offering average weekly pay of $1,900 , overtime after 40 hours, consistent weekly home time, and an additional tax-advantaged per diem for qualifying layovers.

Pay Details

Average Weekly Pay: $1,950
Average Annual Pay: $103,000

• $31.50/hour
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Pay based on on-duty and drive time
• $25 tax-advantaged per diem for each qualifying layover
• Paid every Friday

Job Details

• Dedicated nationwide battery freight
• Multi-stop loads
• Typically 2–3 loads per week
• Driver unload required at each stop
• Use liftgate and electric pallet jack
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Assistance available to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
• Assigned automatic late-model Freightliner sleeper cabs
• Union operation

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Must create a profile with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required reports and records
• Must meet applicable DOT requirements
