Job Description

Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring proper pickup and delivery of Tyson products. Drivers must reside in a defined hiring area and be willing to operate across all 48 states, including various hours and night shifts. Must deliver to all Tyson locations and customer sites as required. Compliance with all regulations in Section 391.11 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations is mandatory.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Use safe lifting techniques, open/close trailer doors, operate landing gear, and recognize audible alerts from equipment. Work may be on wet, slippery, hot, dry, dusty, and cold surfaces. Personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, reflective vests, and closed-toed shoes are required.

Safety: Follow all safety policies, identify risks, and comply with safety procedures. Training will be provided.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Verifiable CDL A Tractor Trailer experience: 9 months within the last 12 months or 12 months within the last 3 years. Clean driving record with no preventable accidents, DUI/DWI/OUI convictions, or positive DOT drug/alcohol tests in specified periods. Limited employment terminations from Tyson Foods and no more than 8 recent driving jobs.
