Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a driver to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated facilities. The role requires adherence to DOT, EPA, and state regulations, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, reviewing shipment records, and proper handling of paperwork. CDL with Hazmat endorsement is required, with Hazmat training and safety compliance a priority.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip vehicle and trailer inspections for safety and integrity.
• Review shipment records, manifests, container labeling and paperwork for accuracy.
• Ensure DOT requirements: load weight, logs, permits, insurance cards, fuel reports.
• Coordinate with customers on load conditions and paperwork to ensure proper transport.
• Report any incidents or violations to supervisor promptly.
• Assist loading/unloading duties as needed using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
