Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites using our well‑maintained fleet. You will ensure deliveries are on time and provide friendly, professional service on every run.

On site you will unload using a dump bed or truck‑mounted forklift and place materials where needed. A valid CDL, clean driving record, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly customer service.
• Unload on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to position materials accurately.
• Maintain professionalism and dependability to support customer relationships.
