Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories in Mount Airy, NC, is seeking a Plant Delivery Driver responsible for transporting goods from the plant to various destinations within the U.S., ensuring safe and timely deliveries in full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

This remote-based role reports to the Delivery Manager and requires coordination with the logistics team to maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, fuel use, hours of service, and complete all required

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with clean record and at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations including hours of service and cargo securement.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Transport products to designated manufacturing plant locations.
• Deliver products safely and in good condition.
• Follow traffic laws and company policies during deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers and logistics teams.
• Report vehicle issues and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage, fuel, and hours of service per DOT.
• Complete required paperwork for each delivery.
• Participate in safety training and follow safety standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
