Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a delivery driver in the Charlotte, NC area to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, delivering all freight undamaged while providing world-class customer service.

You will load/unload materials, follow company policies and Federal/State regulations, and work as part of a team to meet daily delivery goals. The role requires a valid CDL, a minimum Class B license, and a clean three-year MVR.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Minimum Class B License; Class A strongly preferred.
Must have a clear three year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload at job sites.
Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing safety.
Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
Lift building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.
Provide excellent customer service and professional attitude.
