Job summary

Ryder is hiring drivers for regional routes, with out 4–5 nights per week. A sleeper tractor with APU, fridge and dinette is provided. Earn an average $1,941 per week and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Medical, dental and vision insurance start after 30 days, plus a 401(k) with company match at 1 year. Ryder offers 80 hours of PTO in the first year (use it or get paid), paid training, uniforms and boot allowance, and 24/7 roadside maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 9 months experience in past 3 years required.
• Must be minimum 21 years old.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and background check.
• DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional routes as described; out 4-5 nights per week.
• Operate sleeper tractor with APU, refrigerator, dinette set.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Ryder policies.
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly.

Pay, Home Time & More:

• Average $1,941 per week
• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• $5,000 paid out at 30 and 90 days
• Route: Regional, out 4-5 nights per week
• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday
• Delivers Solo west of Mississippi, Great Lake States, Portland, ME, and Northeast Region
• Does not include the 5 Boroughs or New England area
• Start Time: PM/AM Dispatch
• Tractor Type: Sleeper equipped with APU, refrigerator, and Dinette set
• We will consider candidates with an automatic restriction

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
