Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Irwindale, CA, offering weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a driver career you can feel proud of.

The role features a regional route with a 50–60 hour work week, hourly pay of $32.00, and per diem. Start times range 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with dispatch. Training is provided and equipment includes 53' reefers. Join a team committed to safety and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 OR 5 years in last 10 years

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintain logs and records
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required
• Performs other duties as assigned
