Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rialto, CA for a local, home-daily route. Expect weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and paid training as part of a driver-friendly program.

The position offers a 40–50 hour work week with early start times, 3:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and a Monday–Friday schedule. Equipment is day cabs, with dry van trailers and touch freight. Dispatch supports safe driving decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass Ryder road test.
• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• 9 months experience in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 OR 5 years in past 10.
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards; maintain accurate logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
