Job summary

Walmart Regional drivers are essential to delivering goods across our network. The role emphasizes safe tractor-trailer operation, route planning, and strict adherence to DOT and company guidelines while maintaining high service levels for on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain with cleared background check within 120 days of hire.
• Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) of experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the past 36 months.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years, no serious violations, no preventable accidents, and no preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 3–10 years.
• Must reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to relocate within 250 miles within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan the day, set priorities, and coordinate with the team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs in compliance with DOT, state, and company guidelines.
• Safely operate the tractor-trailer, conduct pre/post trip inspections, and maintain vehicle in top condition.
• Plan optimized routes while obeying traffic laws and local restrictions to improve on-time delivery.
• Uphold Walmart's standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism on every mile.
