Job summary

Ryder in Hernando, MS is seeking experienced truck drivers with a valid CDL A for regional, sleeper-tractor routes. The role features a 7 day operation with 5-6 working days, weekend starts, and pay around $1,800–$1,900+ per week plus per diem and bonuses.

You'll operate reefer and dry vans, trained by Ryder, with 24/7 maintenance nationwide support. Benefits start after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 9 months of experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Regional driving with sleeper trucks and APU; 53' trailers (reefer and dry van).
• Carry out driver duties including touch freight and groceries delivery.
• Participate in training and safety programs provided by Ryder.

Average $1,800 - $1,900+ per Week - Comprehensive Benefits

Pay, Home Time & More:

• Average $1,800 - $1,900+ per week
• Solo Miles: 2,000 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay:$25.50 per stop with 12 stops per week
• Per Diem Pay: $60.00 per night, 1 - 3 nights per week
• Paid training
• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

• Schedule: 7 day operation; working 5 - 6 days; will start out working weekends

• Deliver soloto: TN, MS, AR, MO, KS, LA, WI , IA, IL
• Route: Regional
• Tractor Type: Sleeper with APU, automatics

• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
