Averitt Express is seeking regional CDL-A truck drivers to join a team that emphasizes earning potential and home time. You’ll operate predominantly regional routes with 100% no-touch freight and modern equipment, benefiting from strong home time, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Willingness to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• No reckless driving convictions in past 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Open and close trailer doors (up to 46 lbs).
• Hook and unhook trailers (up to 90 lbs).
• Load, unload, or shift freight (up to 54 lbs).
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Enter and exit CMV and trailers from ground level.
• Drive for extended periods and maintain regular attendance.
