Job summary

GFA Alabama, Inc. is actively seeking experienced owner-operators with a Class A CDL to join our Southeast regional logistics team. You will plan routes, log hours, and ensure on-time deliveries across Savannah Port and Georgia/Florida lanes.

We require 23+ years old, a clean MVR, and hands-on experience with GPS/ELD systems. Weekly settlements and fuel/toll receipts handling are part of the routine. Join a fast-growing, driver-friendly operation with no-touch freight where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL.
• Must have own tag - we do not offer a tag program.
• TWIC card is recommended but not necessary.
• Smartphone or tablet for ELD use.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD).
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Clean MVR and accident-free record.
• Valid Class A license and medical card.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles driven, retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.
