Job summary

GFA Alabama, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A owner-operators to join our growing Southeast regional team in the Savannah area. Drive containers on consistent lanes with drop and hook freight and no touch handling.

Join a family-owned logistics company with high freight volumes and reliable weekly settlements. You will plan routes, log hours, comply with regulations, and report any incidents while maintaining a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age.
• Proven work experience as a truck driver with a Class A CDL.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD).
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Clean MVR and accident-free record.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles driven; retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.
