Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in the Kansas City area is seeking intermodal truck drivers to haul containers between rail yards and customers in the metro area. You’ll start and end each shift close to home, with no-touch freight and largely drop-and-hook operations.

You’ll drive about 1,100–1,300 miles weekly within the region, with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 and weekly pay between $1,000 and $1,200. Health, retirement, and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older with valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience.
• No DUI or DWI in past 5–10 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and hair plus urine drug screen.
• Living within 50 miles of Edwardsville, KS.

Responsibilities

• Pick up at the rail ramp and haul loads within the metro area.
• Run your loads and head home at the end of the day.
• Freight is no touch, mostly drop and hook with some live loading/unloading.
• Log around 1,100 to 1,300 miles a week within the region.

What a Shift Looks Like

You pick up at the rail ramp, run your loads, and head home at the end of the day. Freight is no touch, mostly drop and hook with some live loading and unloading, and you log around 1,100 to 1,300 miles a week without ever leaving the region.

The Pay Side

• Average Weekly: $1,000 to $1,200
• Sign On Bonus: $3,000, paid out in increments
• No Touch: You drive, you do not unload
