DHT Group in Chicago, Illinois is hiring CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our propane and butane division. This regional position offers weekly home time and competitive earnings.

Average gross weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $2,500+, with pay details including $0.70–$0.75 CPM, paid loading/unloading, and night-out stipends. Home weekly, regional routes within Illinois and surrounding markets.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 1–2 years verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075).
• Deliver throughout Illinois and surrounding regional service areas.
• Load product from regional terminals and pump with pumping equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete electronic logs and shipping documentation.
• Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards, and required PPE.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements.
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations.
