Job summary

DHT Group in Steubenville, OH seeks CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for Propane & Butane division servicing Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding regional markets. Home weekly with a regional schedule.

Average weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $2,500+, with $0.70–$0.75 CPM, paid loading/unloading, per-gallon pumping pay, detention pay, night-out stipends, weekly direct deposit, safety bonuses, and consistently available propane/fuel freight. The fleet prioritizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT qualifications.
• Experience hauling propane/butane is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075).
• Deliver throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding markets.
• Load from regional terminals using pumping equipment.
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers and operate pumping equipment.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate ELD records and shipping documentation.
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements.
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations.
