Job summary

RouseTrucking in Chicago, IL is hiring CDL-A flatbed drivers for practical regional freight with regular home time. You will operate assigned Peterbilt 567/579 tractors, haul building materials, and receive pay including $1,700–$1,800 per week plus $30 per load and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers.

Home time is every 7–14 days with a 34–48 hour reset. The primary running area is generally east of I-35, with 70 MPH governed speeds and tarping required on some loads.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• At least 6 months of flatbed experience, tarping and load securement experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul flatbed freight such as building materials, pipe, coils and similar loads.
• Tarp loads when required; ensure proper load securement and documentation.
• Operate assigned Peterbilt 567/579 tractors and follow company routing and scheduling.
