Rouse Trucking is hiring CDL-A flatbed drivers for practical regional freight, dependable route planning, and regular home time every 7-14 days with a 34-48 hour reset.

Drivers haul building materials, pipe, coils and similar loads, tarping is required on some trips. Assigned Peterbilt 567/579 tractors, with 70 mph governed, support a reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• At least 6 months of flatbed experience.
• Tarping and load securement experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul flatbed freight such as building materials, pipe and coils.
• Tarping and load securement as part of daily duties.
• Operate assigned Peterbilt 567/579 tractors, with automatic or manual transmission.
• Maintain regular home time and comply with safety policies.

Pay: $1,700 to $1,800 per week | Home Time: Home every 7-14 days with a 34-48 hour reset

Rouse Trucking is hiring CDL-A flatbed drivers for practical regional freight, dependable route planning, and regular home time every 7-14 days with a 34-48 hour reset.

Pay & Home Time:

• Weekly pay $1,700 to $1,800
• Home every 7-14 days with a 34-48 hour reset
• 70 CPM with loaded and empty miles paid
• Additional $30 paid on every load
• $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers

Flatbed Freight:

Drivers haul building materials, pipe, coils, and similar flatbed freight. Tarping is required on approximately 3 out of 5 loads.

• $30 load pay whether tarping is required or not
• Loaded and empty miles paid
• Primary running area generally east of I-35

Drivers should be comfortable with tarping and load securement as part of the position. Routes may vary based on customer needs.

Your Truck:

Rouse Trucking operates 2020 through 2025 Peterbilt 567 and 579 tractors with automatic and manual transmission options.

• Assigned trucks
• 2024 48-foot spread-axle flatbed trailers
• Trucks governed at 70 MPH

Drivers may take their assigned truck home with a safe place to park it. Regular equipment maintenance helps support dependable operation and reduce downtime.

Transition Pay:

You’ll receive transition pay during your first few weeks while getting familiar with routes, scheduling, and dispatch operations.

Pet & Passenger Policy:

One pet is allowed with a $500 non-refundable deposit. There are no breed or weight restrictions, and cats are allowed.

One passenger is allowed with the required liability form. The passenger must be at least 10 years old.
