Steel and Pipe Supply is hiring a CDL-A flatbed regional truck driver near Kansas City. You will transport goods, secure loads, and handle paperwork while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Candidates must live within 250 miles of New Century, KS. New CDL graduates welcomed; sign-on bonus of $3,000 is paid in two installments. Excellent benefits and potential for top earnings are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Card.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.
• Prior flatbed experience preferred but not required.
• Live within 250 miles of New Century, KS.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely and within regulations.
• Check-in/check-out with supervisor daily for assignments.
• Secure cargo using straps and chains to prevent shifting.
• Complete shipping/delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily records and required inspections.
• Communicate with supervisor, sales and customers as needed.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections.
