Job summary

TransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed drivers for a Direct Hire position in Dalton, OH. The role covers regional routes within a 200-300 mile radius, with 2-3 nights out per week and pay at $37.50 per hour, OT after 40 hours.

Trucks are automatic with refrigerators and microwave hookups; pet and rider policies apply. Drivers must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and have at least 2 years of driving experience (1 year flatbed).

Qualifications

• Class A license required.
• 2 years of driving experience with 1 year flatbed experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks on local/regional routes per DOT and company safety standards.
• Transport freight including steel products, building materials, pipe, lumber.
• Perform required handling tasks including strapping and tarping.

TransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed drivers for a Direct Hire position in Dalton, OH.

CDL A Driver Details

• Schedule: Monday- Friday home every weekend, 2-3 nights out per week
• Pay:$37.50 per hour, OT after 40 hours
• Route Type: Regional 400 mile radius, usually within 200-300 miles from terminal
• Freight / Load Type:steel products, building materials, pipe, lumber
• Equipment: Automatic trucks
• Handling:Strap and tarp when needed. If you tarp more than 3 times per week there is a $75 bonus
• Trucks have refrigerators and hook ups for microwaves.

• NO oversized loads

CDL A Driver MinimumRequirements

• License: Class A
• Experience: 2 years driving, 1 year flatbed
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Driver Responsibilities

• Safelyoperate NON CDLvehicles onlocal routes
• Transport freightin accordance withDOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks including strapping and tarping
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintainaccuratelogs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
