TransForce is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local flatbed position in the Pataskala area. You will transport lumber and building materials using a day cab and a 45–48-foot flatbed trailer, with home daily schedules and training on Moffett and flatbed operations.

Responsibilities include safe operation, DOT-compliant logs, and regular inspections. W-2/full-time role with weekly pay and benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• At least 1 year of recent, verifiable truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned day cab with a 45–48 ft flatbed trailer.
• Transport lumber and building materials in local Ohio area while complying with DOT safety standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Assist with material handling and cleaning up lumber as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and meet physical demands of the role.

Our client is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local flatbed position in the Pataskala area. This role involves transporting lumber and building materials while operating a day cab with a 45–48-foot flatbed trailer. Drivers will be home daily and may receive training on Moffett and flatbed operations.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $27.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Route: Local Ohio area
• Route type: Local
• Freight: Lumber and building materials
• Equipment: Day cab with a 45–48-foot flatbed trailer
• Handling: Light touch; stacked lumber is picked up with a Moffett, with some material handling by hand as needed
• Training will be provided on Moffett and flatbed operations

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned truck and equipment
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Assist with lumber cleanup and material handling as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the position
• Valid Class A CDL
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to wear steel-toed boots
