Wooster Motor Ways, Inc. is seeking a dependable Company Driver to haul freight across regional lanes. Daily local and regional runs provide steady miles and a safety-first team environment.

Drivers earn $1500-$1800 per week with a $1350 weekly minimum. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid vacation, and 8 holidays per year, plus steady detention and breakdown pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred, not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.
