Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is hiring professional CDL A drivers for a stable, home-time oriented trucking role across our private fleet. Expect 53-foot trailers, 95% Drop & Hook freight, and routes designed for efficiency with safety as a priority.

You’ll operate in a well-supported environment with modern equipment, competitive pay up to $0.69 CPM, plus sign-on and referral bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Local/regional options provide ample home time and year-round steady work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Minimum of 1 year of all-weather CDL A driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major accidents.
• No alcohol or drug-related driving convictions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with a 53-foot van trailer in designated regions.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores and depots.
• Complete routes consisting of 95% Drop & Hook freight, spending more time driving.
• Maintain compliance with ELD requirements, DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is operated safely.
• All other duties as assigned.
