Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking professional CDL A drivers to operate a 53-foot tractor-trailer across designated routes, delivering freight from distribution centers to stores. Most routes are 95% Drop & Hook with no touch freight, allowing more time on the road.

You will maintain safety standards, complete pre-trip inspections, and meet DOT regulations while earning an estimated weekly pay of $1,500–$1,800, with bonuses and benefits including medical coverage, a 401(k) with match, and

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year all-weather CDL A driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major accidents.
• No alcohol or drug-related driving convictions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with a 53-foot van trailer across designated regions.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores and depots.
• Complete routes with 95% Drop & Hook freight, maximizing driving time.
• Maintain compliance with ELD, inspections, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safe operation.
• All other duties as assigned.
