Andersen Corporation in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a regional delivery driver to haul dedicated Andersen freight to dealers, distribution centers and job sites. The role emphasizes safety, customer service and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement if twin trailers are pulled.
• Accetable motor vehicle record without major incidents.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience including winter driving (and chaining where applicable).
• Ability to read, write and perform simple math; basic math and receipts handling.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions via on-board computer and phone.
• Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.
• Meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DOT.
• Satisfactorily pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist in loading and unloading of the product to customer locations.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors.
• Drive truck to destinations per federal regulations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuvering in challenging conditions.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations (logs, fuel, mileage).
• Comply with company policies and all regulations for safe operation of CMV.
• Represent Andersen Corporation professionally to customers.
• Answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and content; guide customers to the appropriate contact if needed.
