Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking a regional delivery driver to haul windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers and construction sites. The role requires careful, safe driving and excellent customer service, with a schedule Monday–Friday and home every weekend.

You will work with dedicated freight, with 2–4 nights out per week, hourly pay and overtime eligibility. Andersen offers a comprehensive benefits package and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement if twin trailers are pulled.
• Acceptable accident and moving violation MVR.
• 2 years’ tractor-trailer driving experience including winter driving.
• Ability to read, write and perform simple math calculations.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Satisfactorily pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist in loading and unloading of the product to customer locations or returns (Windows/Doors).
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors of varying weights.
• Drive truck to destinations per Federal regulations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving in challenging conditions and tight loading docks.
• Maintain records for compliance with State and Federal regulations (logs, fuel purchases, mileage).
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations for safe operation of a CMV.
• Represent Andersen Corporation professionally to customers.
• Answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, and packaging content; direct to the appropriate contact if needed.
