Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for regional freight along the eastern seaboard. New hires train with pay and then run the eastern half of the country, returning home every 2 weeks.

The role offers training pay of 850 USD per week during 4–6 weeks and a guaranteed 1,000 USD per week for the first 3 months solo, with weekly earnings commonly ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 USD and 1,800–2,300 miles per week.

Qualifications

• 21+ with a valid Class A CDL.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Regional work staying in the eastern part of the country.
• Home every 2 weeks, with time off around holidays.
• Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and live unloads.
• Some load assist and pallet jack work.
• Lanes vary since no single dedicated customer.
